RIDEWRAP TāS 2024
Creating annual t-shirt graphics is a core part of my role at RideWrap. I tend to lean into designs that subtly reference mountain biking without being overly literal. Maintaining a level of ambiguity is important to me, allowing the viewer to interpret the artwork in their own way, whether thatās imagining riding the trail weaving down a mountainside or exploring the intergalactic landscape hidden within the background.
RIDEWRAP TāS 2023
This design is a homage to trail builders the people who shape dirt into works of art for others to enjoy. I wanted to incorporate patterns found in nature alongside the influence of psychedelics within the trail-building community.
WCR
As part of my brief for WCR, I was tasked with designing a t-shirt that would resonate with the Whistler crowd. I decided to move forward with a psychedelic theme, incorporating elements of a Japanese mini van into the design to reflect both the brandās roots and Whistlerās outdoor culture.
GRAZR
Building on the visual identity developed for the website and packaging, I designed a T-shirts to generate excitement around the launch of GRAZR's first product, the ZONE PRO. The graphic pattern draws inspiration from the terrain the GRAZR's components are built to tackle, reinforcing the brand's connection to mountain biking through a cohesive visual language.
MARIO
This was the annual RideWrap T-shirt design for 2022. The concept became one of the brand's best sellers, combining the iconic aesthetic of Mario with the playful style of a 1970s kids' chopper bicycle. The design blends nostalgia with RideWrap's rider-focused personality, creating a graphic that resonated strongly with the community.
BRAWL
This design was the runner-up for RideWrap's 2022 annual T-shirt. It humorously captures the very reason many riders invest in a RideWrap kit - a bike-destroying crash. By leaning into the inevitable mishaps of mountain biking, the illustration reflects the brand's personality while reinforcing the value of protecting your bike.
FRESH Nā CLEAN
This was a self-initiated design that I created and independently produced. Combining bold typography with rubber-hose-cartoon inspired illustrations, the artwork reflects my interest in playful character design and expressive graphic composition. The project gave me the freedom to explore a personal visual style outside of client work.
